My shoulders are aching and my neck is painful. I have a blue nose and my cheek is swollen, but where it hurt the most is in my heart. Dream didnt get true.
I gave everything I had today. Not my day. Arms and legs were tired even though I tried to be fast they wouldnt listen.

DIGG!
The king from Manglerud really had to work it in the ring today. Queen was like a bulldozer and she didnt move one step back. But my intension was to box not to fight. So first round I used my speed to move around and countered her attack. I landed some good hocks but she gave some good shots back. In the corner Martin and Henriette was positive and told me to continue with the same tactic. I never knew the score.In the fourth round it started to get hot in the ring because I was tired and she just moved forward like a wall. The judge gave me a warning for holding and that means she gets 2 points. I was frustrated. And tired. But in the end i won with 1 point and it felt wonderful! Now Im one of 8 left in the 60 kg category. Still does not mean Im qualified for the Olympics but its getting close. And I am so happy:)

Fourth day in China. The Norwegian team is Marielle (-51 kg), Shora (-54 kg), me (-60 kg) and Lotte (-75 kg). Tournament starts 9th of May and its also the only qualification for the Olympics. We are still suffering from the jet-lag but we have been training easy and this afternoon we are going to train with Sweden, England and Holland.
The pre camp has been good. We have been sparring with the Swedish team two days. All in all the training hasnt been very hard. Max left Wednesday afternoon so the last two days Hjalmar has been in charge for the training. We have been up early for some morning run and in the afternoon we have done some bag and pad work. Last night Martin, Henriette and Robert joined the team.
Friday. This morning we had the first weigh-in. Drawing is finish and there is 58 girls in the 60 kg weight category. I am boxing tomorrow against Guatemala in the evening session. Marielle is also boxing tomorrow. Shora Sunday and Lotte Monday.
This weekend my brother is also competing in the European Championship in fitness (or whats it called) in Zagreb so it is an exiting weekend for the Egners.
A good day for the Norwegian team. I won against Guatemala 16-5. A bit slow in the first round but then I found the rhythm and from there it just got better. Didnt do much this fight but enough to win. Marielle won her fight against Puerto Rico 14-21. She is boxing tomorrow against Mexico. Im not boxing again before Monday.
Already Sunday morning here in Qinhuangdao. Woke up to find out that my brother Christian Egner became European Champion in Athletic Fitness last night! Thats crazy cool. Couple of weeks ago he won Oslo Grand Prix after only one week on diet. Today he´s competing for the overall title and my guess is that he is going to bring it home! Good luck!

Training camp and tournament in Poland
Saturday Marielle, Max and me went to Gdansk in Poland for a training camp before the international tournament Felix Stam. Next Saturday we will go to Warsaw where the tournament will take place.
Today we have been training with the Turkish and Polish girls. Tomorrow we will have a sparring session in the afternoon.

Oslo Bokseklubb had big success in the Norwegian Championship in Bergen this weekend. Stian (-67), Hagen (-81) and Daniel (-91) all won gold! Thale lost in the semifinals. Anyway Oslo Bokseklubb became the best club in the tournament. The greatest achievement was by Stian who had to go up one weight class since no one meet in his weight -64 kg.Tomorrow we will have cake after training.

Thursday, Max, me and my dad went to Ireland. We stay in a nice hotel by the sea in a small town called Bray just south of Dublin. Yesterday (Friday) we took the train into Dublin and did some sightseeing. In the afternoon we trained outside and in the evening we watched fights.
Morning run at 7.30 AM. The old man did some power walk while me and Max were running in the beautiful sunrise.

Since me and Max dont like to go to museums we walked around and visited a lot of Dublin’s shops. Here my dad found a tie.

Wednesday and last day of boxing training for the boxers going to the Norwegian Championship in Bergen this weekend. Boxers representing OBK are Thale (-57), Stian (-64), Hagen (-81) and Daniel (-91). I am going to Ireland to fight Katie Taylor Saturday.
