Yeah, it was the closest match ever. Score 12-12, points 60-60 and then each judge had to choose which one they thought won and then I won! Yes baby, now Im ready for the semifinals on Thursday. Hmm think Im going to fight some girl from Tajikistan or something (have to come back to that).
Juhuu going to celebrate with some protein powder and some oatmeal tonight.

Just finish eating breakfast. This morning me and Martin were out jogging for 15 minutes just to get the body waking up before the weigh-in. No problem making the weight.
This afternoon and fighting Chinese Dong Cheng (about 13.00 Norwegian time). She was at the training camp we had last summer in Beijing so I know a little bit about here and I know I have to box good to win.

Eleven girls weighed in in the -60 kg. Do not think I have seen her before so this is going to be exciting!
Won the fight today 24-10. My opponent, Saida Khasenova, is ranked 3rd in Asia and she have a fifth place from the WC in 64 kg in Barbados. I started out not being focused and I tried to shorten the distance because she was moving a lot. Every time i tried to attack her she came first and I never got started. After the first round I was down 2-3. Martin tried to stay positive in the corner but i knew it was bad. In the second round I picked it up a little bit and in the last minute of the second round I got my boxing to work. Came in to the corner and I was up 6-5. In the third round I felt that she was tired and I got a lot of points. She even had to take counting both in the third and fourth round. In the end I won 24-10. But I have to say I was very tired in the two last rounds. More than normal. It could be the jet lag or that we are in this high altitude.
Everything is so well organized here. There are more voluntary Chinese students looking after us then it is boxers here. The arena were we are fighting are bright new, there is a big warming-up area with TVs so we can look at the fight while preparing for our fight. They also have the arena air-conditioned so the temperature is nice.
Before the fights started there was an short opening ceremony. All the teams were told to bring three persons so of course both me and Martin had to go. For the opening ceremony they had volunteers to hold posters with our country on and we had to stand behind them. The volunteers are very eager to practice their English and since we had to stand there almost one hour before the opening ceremony started we talked a lot. They are very cute and polite but something comes out being funny, like when she asked me and Martin “are you lovers?” and I burst out laughing.
After sleeping at the benches in the hall (that are as soft as the bed in the hotel) I had to go by some drink. When I came back I noticed some small Chinese girls and boys running in front of me trying to take pictures of me. So I stopped and smiled and then they came and wanted to take pictures with me. A whole bunch of them. Later when I sat down again they came to my seat and took more pictures. Feels like being from outer space or something but I guess they just think blond hair are very cool! Hehe. And again I have a lot of pictures I want to chair with u guys but when I upload them to this page it just give me a message that this is unlegal.

Woke up crazy early. Jet lag. There is a 6 hrs difference in time going over here from Oslo and I was pretty tired after the trip that took more than 20 hrs. We are staying in the city Guiyang 3 hrs south of Beijing by plane. Guiyang is located 1100 meter above sea level and it is nice and sunny over here. Temperature about 30C. I asked one of the voluntary students working here at the tournament what the population is and first he answered 50 mill, but later on I asked him again and then it was 3 mill. So the city is small compared to other Chinese cities. It is also a beautiful city. This morning Martin and I was out running by the riverside in the sunrise. A long the river there is small Chinese houses and just behind them there is huge skyscrapers that goes up in the sky. Later on, after breakfast we went for a walk. All over the place we saw Chinese people doing kungfu or dancing together. This afternoon I spent reading my book and then we had a work out in the afternoon also.
Tomorrow morning I will get up at 6.30 Am and do some running before the weigh-in that starts at 7. Drawing at 10 AM and then the fights start at 2 PM. It is 14 girls in my weight category for now. None from Europe (other then me). I try to put in pictures here but there are some restrictions, guess it s bec its China. Cant even log into facebook! Ytringsfrihet er no dritt
