Had 300 grams to lose this morning. That’s nothing. Up jogging at 7 AM. Weigh-in and breakfast at 8 AM, then back to bed to get some rest before the fight.

Next week I will be traveling with the rest of the Norwegian team to Pazardjik in Bulgaria to compete in an international tournament. It is going to be my first tournament this year and I’m eager to get started. Last fight I had was in Spain the 17th of December were I fought the Spanish champion (cant remember her name right now) but I won 5-0.
After having 2 months with regularly cold and then the flu in November and start of December, I have now been training hard since the middle of December. I have tried to gain some muscle and I have been doing strength training for 4-5 days a week. I have also put more carbs in my diet so that I will recover faster after each work out. I feel that I have become much stronger over this period and I am now doing 20-25 hrs every week with boxing, running, strength and conditioning and core training. That’s three sessions every day. I am always tired but I love it. Last year I trained for 15-17 hrs every week so putting on these extra hrs has been hard but I am a machine (!) and I know trying so hard I am going to reach my goal: London 2012.
